There are three regional zones in New Zealand to select from on the Region dropdown menu in the online insurance application.
- Auckland which is Greater Auckland
- The rest of the North Island
- The whole of the South Island
Premiums vary from zone to zone as the insurance risk profiles are deemed to be different by the underwriters of the insurance as different regions have different risks.
